Too Little Too Late?
During his recent tour of Europe, our President has apologized for using aggressive, warlike language. Finally!
At long last, the man is willing to admit that he was in error, but maybe this is a case of “too little, too late.”
It’s not like he apologized for going to the Middle East with a premeditated agenda of removing Saddam Hussein and setting up shop in Iraq, under the false pretenses of fighting terrorism and securing Iraq’s imaginary weapons of mass destruction.
Mr. Bush says that he feels that we need to stay in Iraq, so that all of those who have already died will not have died in vain. He stated that he will never apologize for refusing to betray his core beliefs.
Lord, save us from these misguided true believers!
Here is my thought on armed aggression: war has never won and will never win peace.
The only route to peace is through love and compassion, and if all of humanity learned to follow the path of love and compassion, peace would be the only possible result.
Be good to one another, my friends. I love all of you — even you, Mr. Bush!
