My handle is 8foldpath. I use it all over the Internet, but not all 8foldpaths are me.

Usually, I vote for the Green party, but Obama will most likely get my vote this year. I am an independently-minded Buddhist. I’m not a big fan of professional sports (I don’t like how professional athletes are usually portrayed in the media) but I tend to root for Chicago teams.

I write for a living in Chicago, and I’m happily married to a beautiful, kind, intelligent woman.

For many generations, my ancestors have either been Kentucky farmers or the children of immigrants. I am descended from a Revolutionary War veteran on my father’s side and a Scandanavian bootlegger on my mother’s.

It is hard to imagine anyone more thoroughly American than me.
